About the event
Learn the basics of telling a strong story: scene-building, story structure, & how to hook your listener. Using a mixture of fun exercises, solo writing, and interactive games, you'll use a variety of methods to craft your story and practice telling it in a safe environment.
Bring a story to work on in any genre: folktale, myth, religious story, or personal narrative.
Kristin Olson-Huddle performed her solo show, Going On, with Portland Story Theater, The One Fest, and the Orlando Fringe Festival. She has told stories at the Portland Moth Slam, The Mystery Box, Nevertheless We Persist, and won the Art of the Story Slam in 2018.
Rick Huddle has performed in schools all over the United States, Mexico, Thailand, & Colombia. He has been a storyteller at the National Storytelling Festival-Exchange Place, and is Moth Story Slam winner.
